About fieldmargin: manage your farm

Farm management software is a useful tool for farmers to record everything that happens on their farm. With this software, farmers can map fields, plan work, manage livestock, and record observations. This information can be shared with the team to keep everyone up to date. The data is synced to the cloud, making it accessible from any device. A digital farm map is available to quickly map and measure fields and features using GPS or by drawing. Farmers can record field usages, plan rotations, and share them with their team. They can also add more detail with drone and satellite imagery. Work can be planned and assigned to team members, and inputs such as spray or fertilizer can be recorded. Livestock can be managed by setting up herds that can be moved around the farm map. The software allows farmers to record issues and observations with location and photos. They can keep a log of data recorded, such as rainfall or pest counts. A history of what's been done on the farm is available with simple record keeping for the farming business. The software is suitable for all types of farms, used by thousands of farms in 170+ countries from small farms and smallholders to large contractors. It is built to be flexible so it works for different types of agriculture including arable crops, livestock (sheep and cattle), horticulture, vineyards, and forestry. The software also allows farmers to communicate with their team by adding unlimited team members. They can easily collaborate with farm workers, agronomists, consultants, vets, and contractors. The software has a built-in messenger and commenting feature that makes it easy to discuss issues. Farmers can share their location with their team to improve farm safety. The software works offline, making it suitable for use even when there is no signal. Farmers can also connect with their John Deere machinery to view live locations.
