About Vocoder

Vocoder is a pitch shifter stompbox-like effect that was created to test new pitch shifting algorithms. Although it is not a real vocoder logic, it is a combination of secret algorithms that the creator is currently experimenting with. The app is not perfect, but it works well enough to provide a fun and enjoyable experience. The app was designed to be as real-time as possible, but there is a delay due to the current Java API. Despite this, it is still a real-time app that can provide users with a good time. The app can be imagined as a delayed vocoder. Vocoder features include dry signal volume, effects signal volume, space algorithm, and pitch shifting control. The pitch shifting control has a range of one octave up and one octave down. However, the app only works when connected to headphones or speakers due to feedback cancellation being difficult to achieve and not being the creator's aim at the moment. Overall, Vocoder is an app that provides a fun and enjoyable experience for users who are interested in pitch shifting and experimenting with new algorithms. Although it is not perfect, it is still a real-time app that can provide users with a good time.
