About WPXI - Channel 11 News

WPXI Channel 11 is a news app that provides 24/7 coverage of the Pittsburgh area. With live and on-demand videos, users can stay informed about the major news of the day. The app offers minute-by-minute weather updates using WPXI Channel 11’s StormTracker Doppler Radar and 5-day Forecast, as well as live drive times in and out of downtown Pittsburgh to help users get where they need to go on time. In addition to local news that matters for Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Washington, and Westmoreland counties, the app also provides direct sports coverage of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, Penguins, and more. Users can also stay informed about national and world news and easily share engaging content to Twitter and Facebook. However, users should note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. The app also features Nielsen's proprietary measurement software, which allows users to contribute to market research like Nielsen's TV Ratings.
