About Voice Tools

The voice recorder tool for transgender voice therapy is a helpful app that provides visual feedback on voice pitch and associated gender in real-time. It offers phonetically balanced sentences for users to read and listen to tones of specific pitches for them to mimic. The app allows users to record and playback without saving files to their device and provides real-time volume analysis. It is designed to be transgender and non-binary friendly and does not change the pitch of the user's voice. The voice pitch analysis works best with an external microphone, but it can work without one. However, results may vary as the voice pitch analysis requires a relatively quiet environment, and some phone microphones can pick up a lot of background noise. The tool is intended for use as part of voice therapy, and users should aim to use it for about 5 minutes a day over several months. It does not provide lessons or guidance but is intended to be used as a tool to assist with voice therapy and not as a replacement for it. The app is available in two versions, a free advert-supported version and a paid advert-free version. No voice recordings are saved or leave the device, ensuring user privacy. Users are encouraged to provide feedback to help improve the app and report any bugs they encounter. Overall, the voice recorder tool for transgender voice therapy is a useful app that provides visual feedback and analysis of voice pitch and associated gender. It is designed to be user-friendly and privacy-focused, making it a valuable tool for those undergoing voice therapy.
