About Text Me: Second Phone Number

Text Me is a free texting and calling app that allows users to send unlimited messages and make free calls to any number in the USA and Canada. The app also offers a real phone number for users to call and text for free. It can turn an Android tablet into a text and voice device, allowing users to call from both their phone and tablet. The app offers cheap or free international calling to over 200 destinations, and users can earn free credits or buy credits to send SMS and make calls. Text Me offers a range of features, including customizable signatures, text tones, and call tones. It also has a number lookup feature, call filtering, and the ability to send MMS picture messages and group chat. The app is compatible with other texting apps such as Google Voice, Talkatone, TextNow, and TextFree. The app offers privacy features such as anonymous texting and calling, passcode protection, and the ability to hide text messages and conversations. It also has a burner phone feature that provides users with a private second number to text and call. However, there are limitations to the app's free SMS offer, which is limited to US and Canada-based users. Free texting to Latin America is subject to a balanced inbound/outbound traffic fair usage policy, and calls and SMS to some carriers or territories within the 200 countries may not be included in the offer. The app does not support 911 and is subject to TextMe's terms and conditions. Overall, Text Me is a useful app for those looking for a free texting and calling service with a range of features and privacy options.
