About Stringr Video

The Stringr app is a crowd sourced video marketplace that connects news organizations with independent professionals, or "Stringers", who can provide footage of specific events or locations. The app allows news channels and other interested parties to place requests for footage on the website, which are then broadcasted to the network of Stringers. If a Stringer decides to respond to the request, they can collect and upload the video directly from their phone. Stringers are paid for their footage if it is used by the requesting party. The Stringr app offers a unique opportunity for independent professionals to earn money by responding to footage requests. Anyone can become a Stringer by downloading the app and registering on the website. Once registered, Stringers can browse through the available footage requests and decide which ones to respond to. The app provides a simple and convenient way for Stringers to collect and upload their footage, and they are paid for their work if their footage is used. Overall, the Stringr app is a valuable tool for news organizations and independent professionals alike. It provides news channels with a reliable source of footage for their stories, while also offering Stringers a way to earn money by providing that footage. The app is easy to use and offers a convenient way for Stringers to respond to footage requests and upload their work.
