About QR & Barcode Reader

QR & Barcode Reader is a comprehensive scanning app that allows users to scan QR codes and barcodes to obtain additional information. The app supports all common barcode formats, including QR, Data Matrix, Aztec, UPC, EAN, and Code 39, among others. Users can scan codes to open URLs, connect to WiFi hotspots, add calendar events, read VCards, and find product and price information. The app also prioritizes security and performance, offering protection against malicious links and shorter loading times. One of the standout features of QR & Barcode Reader is its minimal permissions requirement. Users can scan images without granting access to their device storage and share contact data as QR codes without giving access to their address book. The app also allows users to detect codes within picture files or scan directly using the camera. Additionally, users can activate the flashlight for reliable scans in dark environments and use pinch-to-zoom to read barcodes from far distances. QR & Barcode Reader also offers the ability to create and share QR codes. Users can generate QR codes for arbitrary data, such as website links, and display them on their screen for scanning with another device. The app also provides custom search options, allowing users to add their favorite shopping websites for specific information. Furthermore, users can manage their scan history, export it as a CSV file, and annotate their scans for inventory management or quality assurance purposes. Overall, QR & Barcode Reader is a feature-rich scanning app that provides users with a convenient and secure way to scan QR codes and barcodes. It is compatible with smartphones and tablets running Android 6.0 or higher and supports various types of QR codes and barcodes, including website links, contact data, calendar events, WiFi hotspot access information, and more.
