About LA Wallet

LA Wallet is a digital app that allows Louisiana residents to keep a digital representation of their state-issued ID or driver's license. The app generates a unique image that is 100% legal for driving purposes and approved by the Louisiana ATC for age-restricted purchases at various local restaurants, bars, and retail outlets. Once a user activates their current, valid license in LA Wallet, the digital driver’s license is valid for the life of the user’s current identity credential issuance. When the user’s physical license expires, they must renew their license with the OMV or through the LA Wallet app, if eligible. In addition to providing a digital representation of a user's ID or driver's license, LA Wallet also offers a paid service called VerifyYou™ Pro. This age-verification tool helps businesses stay ATC compliant when offering home delivery of age-restricted goods. By using VerifyYou™ Pro, businesses can ensure that they are not selling age-restricted goods to minors, which can help them avoid costly fines and legal issues. Overall, LA Wallet is a useful tool for Louisiana residents who want to keep a digital copy of their ID or driver's license and for businesses that want to stay ATC compliant when offering age-restricted goods for home delivery.
