About KKBOX | Music and Podcasts

KKBOX is a music streaming platform that offers over million songs, including Chinese, Cantonese, English, Japanese, and Korean tracks. In addition to music, KKBOX also provides audiobooks and podcasts for free listening. The personalized recommendation feature creates curated playlists based on your listening habits, making it easier to discover new songs. For users in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore, KKBOX supports Hi-Res and Hi-Fi audio quality, allowing you to enjoy music in its original recording quality. The platform is available on various devices, including mobile, tablet, PC, smart TV, and audio-controlled speakers. In Taiwan, KKBOX offers additional features such as Fan Badges and KK Points. Fan Badges are awarded to top fans based on their stream count, showing support for their favorite idols. KK Points can be collected to participate in member-exclusive contests and win tickets to concerts, movies, and other prizes. However, it's important to note that these features may only be available in certain regions. When using KKBOX, the app may request certain permissions. These include the ability to make and manage phone calls and access contacts, although KKBOX does not actually place calls or access contacts. This permission is used to integrate with telecommunication companies' systems and determine network status during login. Additionally, KKBOX may request access to photos, media, and files on your device, which is necessary for processing temporary files of songs and album covers. For more information, you can follow KKBOX on Facebook and stay updated on any discounts or special offers they may have.
