About Generac PWRview

PWRview is a mobile application that allows owners of a Generac energy system to monitor their energy usage in real-time. The app can be used with a PWRcell system, a Generac generator with PWRview ATS, or with a PWRview Home Energy Monitor installation. With PWRview, users can monitor their energy production, cost, and consumption. The app provides live energy monitoring, allowing users to monitor their home power consumption and PWRcell system owners to monitor solar production and PWRcell battery capacity. Users can also understand their system behavior at a glance with energy flow lines and see how their home energy needs have been met throughout the day. In addition to live energy monitoring, PWRview also offers a daily energy snapshot. Users can monitor their power consumption and, for PWRcell owners, also monitor their generation and battery usage throughout the day. The app provides aggregated energy measures to help users keep tabs on their daily system performance. Users can also see how their bill and bill savings progress throughout the day and understand how their solar system and energy storage help them reduce their daily grid energy demand. PWRview also offers historic performance monitoring, allowing users to discover patterns in their consumption, solar generation, grid, and battery usage. Users can directly relate their system performance to their electricity bill. The app also provides bill forecasting, allowing users to keep track of their accumulated bill spending and avoid surprises at the end of the month thanks to accurate bill forecasting. Users can measure the effect of time-of-use rates on their bill and investigate the effect of seasonality and changes in their home with historical bill comparisons. Overall, PWRview is a comprehensive mobile application that provides real-time energy monitoring and analysis for owners of a Generac energy system. The app offers a range of features, including live energy monitoring, daily energy snapshots, historic performance monitoring, and bill forecasting, to help users understand their energy usage and reduce their daily grid energy demand.
