About Garmin Messenger™

The Garmin Messenger™ app is a useful tool for staying connected with friends and family. It offers rich network messaging features that can be used on any compatible smartphone. When paired with a compatible inReach® device, the app provides global satellite messaging and interactive SOS capabilities that are not limited to cellphone coverage areas. The app supports group message threading and distribution, as well as direct communication with other users. It also automatically switches between Wi-Fi, broadband cellular, and the global Iridium satellite network for the best connectivity and efficiency. It is important to note that some jurisdictions regulate or prohibit the use of satellite communication devices. Users must be aware of and follow all applicable laws in the jurisdictions where the device is intended to be used. The app on your phone will work seamlessly even if your inReach device is turned off, as long as you have connectivity. Wi-Fi is a registered trademark of the Wi-Fi Alliance. Overall, the Garmin Messenger™ app is a great way to stay connected with loved ones, no matter where you are in the world. Its global satellite messaging and interactive SOS capabilities provide peace of mind, and its group messaging and direct communication features make it easy to stay in touch with multiple people at once.
