About eMailACheck
eMailACheck is a mobile app that allows users to write checks and send them via email or text to the recipient. The app is easy to use and requires the user to set up their account by providing their account name, number, and bank information. The user's information is verified through text messages and emails. Once the verification process is complete, the user can set up their electronic checkbook. The app does not handle any transactions and does not keep any personal information. All transactions are handled by the user's bank.
The app provides numerous levels of security to ensure that only authorized users can operate the system. The user must have a passcode for their phone and another passcode for the mobile app. In order to write a check, the user must be the signor on the bank account and apply their signature each time. The mobile app creates a unique personalized check each time with a barcode and repeating information in the background to prevent counterfeiting, manipulation, or forgery. The encrypted check is then sent via email or text to the person the user wishes to pay.
eMailACheck offers several benefits to its users. Users can save on postage, handling costs, envelopes, pre-printed checks, and ink. The app also eliminates the need to worry about slow mail or lost checks. Users can have proof that a check is received and know when it is received, which can help prevent late fees. The app allows users to receive payments instantly, anytime and anywhere, without the need to go to their mailbox or the bank. Users can deposit their checks remotely and always have a copy of the check without wasting paper. Every check requires a signature, and the bank verifies the payment amounts, signature, and account number before cashing a check.
Overall, eMailACheck is a secure and convenient way for users to write and send checks. The app provides numerous benefits and eliminates the need for traditional check-writing methods.
