About CoinDetect for euro collectors

CoinDetect is a mobile application that simplifies the process of identifying euro coins. With just a snap of a picture using your phone camera, the app can provide you with information about the coin's country of origin, year of issue, and other relevant details. This app is a must-have tool for coin collectors and numismatists. However, it only recognizes euro coins from the European Monetary Union, including Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, and Vatican City. The app uses artificial intelligence and computer vision techniques to locate and recognize the coin in the image. It can automatically recognize around 300 types of euro coins, including regular coins and commemorative 2€ coins, with an average accuracy of 97-99%. The app also provides detailed information about each coin, such as its description, issue year, designer, and approximate value. Additionally, the app has a section for managing your coin collection and a catalogue of all euro and eurocent coins. CoinDetect offers additional features through its premium version, such as collection data synchronization with Dropbox for backups and moving data between devices. The premium version also removes ads. It is important to note that images of coins uploaded to the app are stored on CoinDetect's server. However, the app assures users that uploaded images will not be shared with any third parties and may only be used to improve the recognition model. In summary, CoinDetect is a useful app for identifying euro coins. It uses artificial intelligence and computer vision techniques to recognize coins and provide detailed information about them. The app is limited to euro coins from the European Monetary Union and offers additional features through its premium version. Users can rest assured that uploaded images are kept private and may only be used to improve the app's recognition model.
