About Carbon Drive

Gates Carbon Drive is a high-tech belt drive system designed for bicycles, motorcycles, and scooters. The system is equipped with an app that measures belt tension sonically. By plucking the belt like a guitar string and using the microphone on your phone to read the vibration frequency, you can compare your bicycle belt's frequency to the included chart to see if you need to adjust the tension. For scooter/motorcycle tension recommendations, compare to your vehicle owner's manual. This feature ensures that your belt drive is always in optimal condition, reducing the risk of damage and increasing the lifespan of your drive system. In addition to the belt tension measurement feature, the Gates Carbon Drive system also offers other features for bicycles. The system's calculator allows you to find key parameters of your drive, such as speed ratio and center distance. You can also change belt length or sprocket sizes to better suit your riding needs. This feature allows you to customize your drive system to your specific preferences, ensuring that you have the perfect setup for your ride. Overall, the Gates Carbon Drive system is a high-tech, reliable, and customizable belt drive system for bicycles, motorcycles, and scooters. With its app and calculator features, you can easily measure belt tension, find key parameters of your drive, and customize your drive system to your specific needs.
