About British Airways

The British Airways app is a personalised tool designed to make booking, boarding, and accessing flight information easier for users. The app features a timeline that displays live travel and flight information, including a countdown to the flight, terminal and gate information, and updates when changes occur. Users can also access tools and tips for their journey, and the app allows for multiple boarding passes for up to eight passengers on the same booking reference number. The personalised home screen is themed around the user's next destination and provides easy access to important flight information, including the mobile boarding pass. The app also includes a widget that can be added to the phone's home screen for quick access to flight information and boarding passes. Executive Club members have access to exclusive features, including the ability to check their Avios, Tier Points, and full transaction history. Booking a flight with British Airways is made easy with the app, which allows users to browse the cheapest fares to over 400 destinations and quickly access recent flight searches made from any device. The app also allows users to manage their flights, including purchasing upgrade offers, booking seats in advance, and adding flights to their calendar or sending them via email. The app requires access to the user's calendar and email to add and share bookings, as well as access to the camera and location and Bluetooth services to link with TAG, the digital bag tag. Overall, the British Airways app is a comprehensive tool that provides users with all the information they need for their journey. From booking flights to managing their itinerary, the app is designed to make travel easier and more convenient. With exclusive features for Executive Club members and a personalised home screen, the app is a must-have for anyone travelling with British Airways. However, users should be aware of the terms of use of the app and mobile boarding passes, which can be found in the Application Licence Agreement on the British Airways website. The app requires certain permissions to function properly, including access to the user's calendar, email, camera, location, and Bluetooth services. Users must also grant permission to receive notifications.
