About Amazon Shopping

The Amazon Shopping app offers a range of features to enhance the shopping experience. Users can benefit from real-time tracking and delivery notifications, ensuring they never miss a package. The app also provides a full 360° product view, allowing customers to see items from every angle. Additionally, the "View in your room" feature uses the phone's camera and virtual reality technology to show how products would look in the user's space. Another useful feature is the ability to save items to a personal list and receive alerts when they go on sale. This ensures that users never miss out on a good deal. The app also offers convenient sign-in options, including facial or fingerprint identification, saving time for users who prefer to stay securely signed in. For customer support, the app provides 24/7 live chat assistance. Once a chat session is initiated, it remains active for 24 hours, eliminating the need to start over if additional support is required. Additionally, the app includes a scan feature that allows users to find items by taking a picture or scanning the barcode. This is particularly helpful when users are unsure of the brand or where to purchase a specific item. Please note that the Amazon Shopping app requires certain permissions to function properly. These include access to contacts, camera, flashlight, microphone, location, account information, phone, storage, and Wi-Fi. These permissions enable features such as sending gift cards, scanning products, using voice search, accessing local offers, and pre-populating customer service numbers. For customers within the European Union, United Kingdom, Brazil, or Turkey, it is important to review and agree to Amazon's Conditions of Use, Privacy Notice, Cookies Notice, and Interest-Based Ads Notice specific to their country. Links to these terms and notices can be found in the footer of the local Amazon homepage. For all other customers, the applicable Amazon Conditions of Use and Privacy Notice for their country should be reviewed and agreed upon. Links to these terms and notices can also be found in the footer of the local Amazon homepage.
